Hungry on my way home after a full day of walking through the streets of New Britain, I stumbled over this place. It was packed with people, but I did not have to wait Long. The Staff was very friendly and the food excellent. The vegetables were crispy and perfectly cooked, the sauce delicious and tasty. I hope I’ll find this place again.
I came upon this restaurant after walking for an hour, very hungry and having had quite a terrible morning. They seated me quickly and gave me a tall glass of water and the menu. The lunch specials are all 10.95 (super affordable!) and give you enough food to feed yourself (I know the photo looks sparse, but I took it partway through eating!) The music they put on is lovely, and a volume gentle to the ears but enough that other parton’s chatter is background noise, and the food is quite literally the best I’ve had this year! It took my morning and turned it right around. I’m writing this review in the middle of my meal, but I know I will leave relaxed and ready to go on with my day. Thank you C J‘s Restaurant! Made my day.
The spicy fish was so yummy! No tip was required when I checked out. The price is reasonable after all it is located near New Britain. Authentic America food, I like it sooo much. Reminds me of the taste of my hometown food. Good pork with pepper, spicy, smells great, some really good dish.
